How important is reading?

When we think about this question, we probably think mainly about our students. In fact, if children were to read every night, their vocabulary would expand greater and faster than if there is no to little reading at home. In reality, it is very similar for adults.

Research has shown that reading has long term benefits on brain power, but also on motivation, mental health, reasoning and working memory.

So why not use the time you read with your child for your own health too!?
