What learning has taken place at Heyfield Primary School this week?

Shadow Boxes

Bill Smith is full of knowledge and skills and one of the Wednesday activities has been to create shadowboxes. Students have enjoyed the challenge to put the boxes together and decorate them. This week, Archer Semmens and Jordan Powney from Room 6 are proudly presenting theirs.

Jump Rope for Heart

We had our first session for Jump Rope for Heart. I did not realise there were so many ways to use a skipping rope!! Our staff and students enjoyed learning this together. Some have already started fundraising money and practising at home.

We will have a special exhibition on Wednesday 1st June from 2pm. Come and join us and attempt skipping with the kids too! We had to move this day from Friday 3rd June to Wednesday, so please take note of this change of dates.
