What learning has taken place at Heyfield Primary School this week?
Supporting our students
We, as a staff, always aim to learn more and improve on how to support all our students. Last Monday we have learnt about trauma and it affects the brain. We also learnt about how to support children who experience anxiety. On Wednesday 7th September from 5pm until 6:30pm, parents and carers can come and learn about it too. Do not hesitate to join us on the night, even if you have not put your name down. Kellie and Gail from Soothe2Shine will be the counsellors on the night.
Book Week Dress-up Day
The day was a success as you can tell by the smiles. Students enjoyed their time at the town library too.
Students’ Presentation
All grade 3 and 4 students presented about a famous person to their parents on Thursday afternoon. It was very diverse and very interesting presentations. All students had to show confidence when talking in front of their audience, and they did an amazing job. Well done!
Athletics Day in Sale
