What happened this week?

A tour around the school this past week..

Our students did some footy drills for PE this week, with Jason Dervish supported by Jackson Patmore. The kids loved the tackle and Speckies practice the most!

You could also see more students play Gaga Ball this past week. Isn’t it great to see our younger students interact with our older ones? They all played quite confidently and nicely. I believe this is a direct outcome from our mixed groups during our Wednesday rotations.

A couple of weeks ago, Jett Shillingford had recreated a truck and trailer with cardboard. Well, this week, he had built a windmill activated by a battery. Very very clever!

As I walked passed Room 4, I noticed samples of their writing on the board. They were all about what they dressed-up as two weeks ago. One was a zombie!!!

Lastly, staff showed their support to Lacey Radford who represented Victoria last week, in Queensland, when playing in the Nationals Competition in Polo Cross. Well done to Lacey and her team for making it that far! We are very proud of you!

SAVE THE DATE

We will have our school disco on Friday 26th July, using the same format as last year: Juniors first, then Senior students. This allows for less craziness on the dance floor! We will have games during the evening and the entry fee will include a drink and some chips.

Parents will only be able to stay if we require helpers, otherwise they can just drop an go!
