What happened this week?
Getting ready for Book Week!
On Thursday, while classroom teachers were unpacking the new Maths curriculum, planning for the rest of the year, and moderating a common assessment task in maths; students took part in activities linked to the theme of this year’s Book Week: Reading is Magic. They learnt magic tricks, made posters to promote the dress-up day and decorated Bookmarks to help setting up the record of the ‘greatest number of bookmarks decorated by students’.
Wednesday Activities
Another great week of activities on Wednesday! I am very impressed with the sewing skills!
You can also see a group of boys discussing their strategy to beat the other team, during their game with Mr Fasoli. Quite intriguing!
Table Tennis
Last week is next week! Our students had so much fun, we will look into purchasing a table we can leave outside. We might even have tournaments!
School Disco
This year again, it was a success with our Juniors loving the challenges of Limbo and Frozen statues, compared to the Seniors who showed their talent in making the worm, one of their favourite dance moves!
Next year, we might add a theme to our disco. I hear the 80s could be the first theme we go with! Stay tuned!
A huge thank you to all parents who helped throughout the night, and with the setting up and the cleaning.
