What happened this week?

A snapshot around the school…

Congratulations!

Well done to Dusty Hamilton and Aurora Tatt for making it to Regional Athletics. They both competed on Tuesday and proudly represented our school.

Well done also to Ruby Byrne and Caleb Darby for their artwork.

Ruby Byrne for her National Water Poster, which was a regional competition. There were hundreds of entries and she won! You can be very proud of yourself Ruby.
- Caleb Darby for his drawing in the Future Wellington Competition. he won amongst many students from the shire. Wonderful achievement.

WEDNESDAY ACTIVITIES

The first round of activities for this term was a success with students trying sewing, golf, gardening, cooking, hands-on learning, mindful drawing, Lego masters and visiting the Laurina Lodge.

Physical Education

Rooms 1 and 2 did P.E. together this week and teachers got involved in the game too. Everyone knows how competitive Ms Wojcinski can get! Maybe this is a training session to beat grade 6 students again this year.

Leadership workshop

Four of our students have undertaken leadership workshops this year, and completed it yesterday. They learned about various types of leadership, empathy and teamwork with students from other schools. Hudson did a presentation about the issue of rubbish in the yard we have been addressing at school.

Next year, they will help leading or even lead projects using this year’s learning. We are hoping that more students will take part in these workshops in 2025.

Well done to Ruby Cassidy, Isla Molphy, Hudson Turner and Dusty Hamilton for attending.
