What happened this week?
This week in pictures…
Here are some photos from the Art room, where students have learnt about the five rings of the Olympics games. They also made connections with the movie of Mary Poppins and did some Concrete Art.
Thank you to Sean Patmore for organising some sand to be delivered and top up our sandpit. So many students spent lunchtime creating tunnels and you could hear them cheer loudly when their hands touched, as they got through the other side!
Wednesday Activities
More wonderful pictures from our students’ visit to the Laurina Lodge. What a great experience for all. Thank you to Ms Wojcinski, Nicole and our student teacher Jordyn for taking our students.
Other students kept going with their craft activities with Mrs Merlo.
ATHLETICS
It was a fun day at the Athletics yesterday. we enjoyed watching and cheering runners and jumpers and the throws of discus and shotput were very interesting too.
Thank you to the Rec. Reserve for allowing to use the field and toilet. Thank you to all helpers, staff and parents. I am certain all the smiles from students demonstrate their appreciation.
Book Week - Australian Record
In a couple of weeks, we will be setting a record! We are aiming to set an Australian record of the greatest number of bookmarks decorated by students.
We had a delivery of bookmarks from Maffra SC on Tuesday, with two students making the special trip to our school. One of our ex-student Caitlyn Morris joined by Harry had the great responsibility to make this safe delivery. Thank you Kristen Raine for organising this.
Nambrok PS and Newmerella PS have also delivered theirs!
