What happened this week?
A snapshot around the school…
Congratulations!
Ruby Byrne received her prize for her National Water Poster, this week, which was very exciting. The details in her drawing is one of the criteria and reason she won. Great work Ruby.
WEDNESDAY ACTIVITIES
Cooking and Golf were a hoot this week again. The cookies smelt and tasted delicious! Well done Jakobi Meers for winning the prize at golf this week.
Maffra Show
Our grade 3 and 4 students went to the Maffra Show today. The woodwork workshop was a highlight!
World Teachers’ day
Thank you to everyone who wrote a message for our staff. They enjoyed a cake prepared by Heyfield bakery and a cake made by Megan Stone, while reading your messages at morning tea.
I am not allowed to share the photos I took of them during the week.. yet, so I will just share the staff photo we had on the cake!
Snaps
Thank you to Eboni Whitehead and Maddie Winter for choosing to come to our school for their work experience. It is great to see them again each week, on Thursday afternoons. I got to model how to do PMP to room 4 students, and Emily and Miss Holt decided for a pay back and take a photo of me, so I thought I’d add it too! Who said we don’t have fun at our school!?
Ducklings
We had some funny visitors this week. Mumma Duck and her ducklings scooted through the school grounds towards the Heyfield Wetlands. A lovely gentleman helped stopping cars to ensure the furry family was going to cross safely. Very cute.
