A snapshot around the school…
Good work to all students who participated in the Public Speaking Competition on Wednesday: Autumn Butcher, Aurora Tatt, Cayley Hayles and Elsie Smith.
Congratulations to all the players of basketball who competed in th 5/6 Hooptime Tournament in Sale yesterday. each team won at least one game and showed great sportsmanship skills. Thank you to all parents who cheered for them, and those who helped with driving the last team home.
We had some science happening in the Senior area, with 5/6 students building strong structures so the wind wouldn’t blow them down. Room 7 made some pirates hats, for procedural writing. In social skills, there was a game of cups and strings!
In the yard, students tried to make a cubby with all the sticks that had fallen down. At assembly, Room 5 successfully read the poem they have studied in class.
