What happened this week?

Music Performance

Well done to Rooms 1 and 4 today with their music performances. I hope we can join you all and do as well on Concert night with the Wellaman song! I saw some parents joining in today, so there is hope!

I have filmed live the performances so you can watch them for the next 30 days on our Closed Facebook group.

What can we see around the school, this week?

Oral Language is a focus in all classes but having events such as the Public Speaking Competition makes this learning even more exciting.

Aurora Tatt (grade 3), Lara Ratten, Kenzie Hibbins, Isla Molphy and Ruby Cassidy (grade 4s) presented their story today as part of the process to compete. They all used clear voices and accurate tones. They attempted to make eye contact, which is very important when talking to an audience. Their stories were very creative and engaging.

The two students going to the next round are Isla and Ruby. They will compete on Monday at 4pm at the Bowls Club. Congratulations and well done!
