What happened this week?

A snapshot around the school…

ART

This week, students from the Junior unit made sculptures in Art. They all look very colourful and creative. We also have a couple of dioramas exhibited in the entrance of the school. Come and have a look!

Grade 6 Transition

Grade 6 students had their second Transition Day at Maffra Secondary College. The experience a music class, amongst other subjects!

Footy Colours Day and Hot Dog Day

Our school was filled with Footy tops, beanies and scarves today to celebrate the end of ‘footy’ season. In Queensland, footy is NRL, while in Victoria it is for AFL. We had both sports represented today. Ann, in the office was in the Matildas colours and in French, soccer is football too! What a variety of meaning for one word, depending where you are!

Thank you to everyone who helped with the Fun Food Day, serving hot dogs, but also the organisation that took place before and after. Could not do it without you! The kids loved it.

GO ROOS!!!

Good luck to all A grade netballers for their grand-final this weekend. We will cheer for you!
